A focused week in San Francisco, and two sessions stand out for me. On Tuesday evening WISP hosts a free talk at Cloudflare HQ on governing agentic AI, the legal side of accountability and autonomy that every security team is about to inherit. On Thursday at lunch the IAPP KnowledgeNet brings Jim Dempsey to the Orrick Building for his top ten trends in cybersecurity law, open to IAPP members.

Plan ahead too, because next week is big: SANS San Francisco starts November 2 and OWASP Global AppSec USA opens November 5.
