A busy week in Austin. The one I would make time for is OWASP LASCON on Thursday at the Norris Conference Centers, the city's own application security conference and a room full of builders and defenders. The FS-ISAC Americas Fall Summit is also in town, so Tuesday evening has several vendor happy hours and a financial services dinner if you work in that sector.

Looking ahead, the ISACA Austin chapter's TechNexus conference is November 18 and free to register.
