Malicious traffic doesn't stop at your firewall, it moves through a shared ecosystem of infrastructure, routing paths, and mail systems that every organization depends on. Recent Global Cyber Alliance research shows a single cheap VPS was able to fire off roughly 20,000 phishing emails in two five-minute bursts, cycling through brand impersonations while sitting on public blocklists the entire time, proof that blocking known-bad infrastructure isn't slowing attackers down. A parallel study of 191 postal operators found 81% still exposed to email spoofing because of stalled DMARC enforcement.
Tune into this session from CTO Leslie Daigle as she shares concrete network practices to stop compromised devices and protect your infrastructure from potentially devastating breaches. The scale of today's threats means no single organization can block its way out. Progress depends on collaboration among operators, ISPs, and vendors to disrupt shared infrastructure at its source.
Executives will leave with a short list of things to check this quarter: - Whether their organization's ASNs have signed ROAs. - Whether their domains have reached DMARC p=reject rather than sitting at monitoring-only. - Whether outbound traffic is monitored with the same rigor as inbound. - Where their organization could plug into existing collaborative efforts rather than solving this alone.
