SANS Institute San Diego Training Events
SANS runs two multi day training events in San Diego each year: a winter event in La Jolla (CyberCon or Surge) and the flagship SANS Security West in May downtown, with evening community talks and NetWars tournaments.
- Usually meets
- Twice a year: late February in La Jolla and mid May downtown, each six days
- Cost
- Courses $5,250 to $9,230 plus $999 GIAC exam; evening community talks and NetWars are often free to registered attendees.
- CPE
- 18 to 51 CPE per course toward GIAC and other certifications.
